PANS will be what’s known as the ‘Data Controller’ of your personal data processed in relation to the PANS Website (, which is used to manage membership of the PANS Board ('the board'), internal PANS documents, and collaborating institutes and persons. This privacy notice will explain how will process your personal data.

Why we need it

We are collecting your personal data including name, e-mail address, contact details, affiliation(s), in order to maintain a list of PANS collaborators, observers and associates. We also maintain archives containing presentations, publications, public and internal documents related to the activities of the commitee, and a list of NPN subscribers. This website does not make use of cookies.

What we do with it and who we share it with

All the personal data is processed by PANS staff, and securely stored on servers hosted in the EU. Some of your basic data (name, position, affiliation, addresses) may appear on lists published on the Internet and available globally.

How long do we keep it for

Your data will be retained by PANS for as long as you are a collaborator or associate of PANS. After this time, data will be securely deleted.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google uses this information (including your IP address) for the purpose of compiling website usage statistics for us. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. All the data we collect on our site is protected against unauthorised access. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.
