Your Personal Data

PANS will be what’s known as the ‘Data Controller’ of your personal data processed in relation to the PANS Website (nupecc.org/pans), which is used to manage membership of the PANS Board ('the board'), internal PANS documents, and collaborating institutes and persons. This privacy notice will explain how will process your personal data.

Why we need it

We are collecting your personal data including name, e-mail address, contact details, affiliation(s), in order to maintain a list of PANS collaborators, observers and associates. We also maintain archives containing presentations, publications, public and internal documents related to the activities of the commitee, and a list of NPN subscribers. This website does not make use of cookies.

What we do with it and who we share it with

All the personal data is processed by staff at TUM, and securely stored on servers hosted by TUM. Some of your basic data (name, position, affiliation, addresses) may appear on lists published on the Internet and available globally. If you have subscribed to NPN, your information is used for delivering this content.

How long do we keep it for

Your data will be retained by PANS for as long as you are a collaborator or associate of PANS. After this time, data will be securely deleted.

Security measures that we use

All the data we collect on our site is protected against unauthorised access. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

 

Legal basis for processing your data

We must have a legal basis for processing all personal data. In this instance, the legal basis is consent. You provide your consent when you agree to have your name, position, affiliation, email address(es), presentations etc. listed and/or linked on this site, or on sites linked herein.

What are your rights?*

You can request access to the information we process about you at any time. If at any point you believe that the information we process relating to you is incorrect, you can request to see this information and may in some instances request to have it restricted, corrected or, erased. You may also have the right to object to the processing of data and the right to data portability.

Complaints

If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact the TUM Data Protection Officer who will investigate the matter.
