NuPECC will be what’s known as the ‘Data Controller’ of your personal data processed in relation to the NuPECC Website (nupecc.org), which is used to manage membership of the NuPECC Committee ('the committee'), internal committee documents, Nuclear Physics News ('NPN') subscriptions. This privacy notice will explain how will process your personal data.
Why we need it
What we do with it and who we share it with
All the personal data is processed by NuPECC staff, and securely stored on servers hosted in the EU. Some of your basic data (name, position, affiliation, addresses) may appear on lists published on the Internet and available globally. If you have subscribed to NPN, your information is used for delivering this content.
How long do we keep it for
Your data will be retained by NuPECC for as long as you are a member, observer or associate of NuPECC, or a NPN subscriber. After this time, data will be securely deleted.
Security measures that we use
All the data we collect on our site is protected against unauthorised access. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

We must have a legal basis for processing all personal data. In this instance, the legal basis is consent. You provide your consent when you agree to have your name, position, affiliation, addresses, your CV, presentations etc. listed and/or linked on this site, or when you subscribe to NPN.
